A downloadable game for Windows, Linux, and Android
Your potted plants take too long to develop? And they keep dying on you? (I don't know why that is, but I do have some theories)
Byl-ka is not demanding. It won't force you to wait for months to see the results. All it needs is a bit of your time and creativity.
Each playthrough will generate a virtually unique combination of elements. Try and help it bloom to the full effect or stop when you feel like it. You can't smell it or touch it, but it's still your own special digital plant, right?
- three difficulties to choose from, defining plant complexity
- play for a minute or half an hour, up to you really
- create your own digital herbarium using the built-in screenshot function (this one works a bit different on android though)
- note: gameplay trailer is sped up 3x for showcase purposes
- relax, it's a plant :)

Finally I can have plants that don't die on me instantly! This is visually pleasing and looks so relaxing, can't wait to create my own herbarium :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
